Donald Trump, Tweets and Presidential records

Donald Trump has been known for his infamous tweets since his presidential campaign. Now that he is President, there has been a dispute over if he’s violating the Presidential Records Act by deleting phone calls and tape-recorded conversations with members of his administration but primarily for deleting his tweets from his personal Twitter account.
The Presidential Records Act of 1978 requires the conservation of presidential records in response to the legal consequences of the Watergate scandal. Earlier in 2017, a legal complaint was filed by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) who claim that Trump and his administration are abusing their power to protect these records. CREW also affirms that Trump’s administration is sending encrypted, disappearing messages and secret chats to avoid releasing any presidential records. Trump argues that the Presidential Records Act cannot go through judicial review of his compliance. CREW is asking for the President to stop this mysterious, cryptic behavior of deleting tweets and conversations through an injunction request to a court to order Trump to stop his acts and behaviors.
